Sarah Simmers, PharmD

Co-Founder, Customicro Clinical Services

I understand no single approach to education, post-graduate education, or practice experience prepares you to best serve patients. I graduated magna cum laude from North Dakota State University with a doctorate in pharmacy. I sought diverse practice experience in hospital, corporate infusion, specialty pharmacy, ambulatory clinic, sterile and non-sterile compounding, and nuclear pharmacy (ANP) settings over my twenty-five-year career as a pharmacist.

Over the past fifteen years, I have enjoyed serving the community of Scottsdale as a small business owner and clinical consultant to partner pharmacy organizations. I pursued expanding my education as an Advanced fellow with the American Academy of Anti-Aging Medicine, advocated for patient compounded medication access at a congressional level as a board member for the Alliance for Pharmacy Compounding, and served my corporate compounding peers by selection to PCCA’s Strategic Business Advisory Council.

My passion as a pharmacist has always been to collaborate with patients and prescribers to personalize medications tailored to each patient’s unique needs. With 25 years of experience in clinical pharmacy, I have developed both manufactured products and custom topical Rx formulations as part of clinical program solutions for infection management. I am honored to share my expertise and experience in serving the patients and providers of Customicro Clinical Services.
