Clinical Service
OralRestore Clinical Services
Oral dysbiosis can involve pathogenic microorganisms, altered microbial activity, and inflammatory processes that affect oral health. OralRestore combines TargetedRx therapy with an individualized maintenance program to address identified microbial imbalances and support a healthier, more balanced oral environment over time.
What is the Oralrestore Clinical Service?
The Oralrestore Clinical Service is a targeted approach to managing oral dysbiosis and persistent oral infections complicated by microbial imbalance. The oral microbiome is a complex ecosystem, and when disrupted by pathogenic organisms, biofilm, or inflammatory processes, it can contribute to chronic oral health challenges that standard treatments fail to fully resolve.
Using molecular diagnostics, our pharmacists identify the specific organisms present in the oral environment and provide clinical interpretation to guide treatment. This allows for a precise, personalized TargetedRx prescription combined with an individualized maintenance program to clear the infection and support a healthier oral microenvironment over time.
How it works
Our PharmD i3 process (Identify, Interpret, Intervene) guides every clinical service engagement:
- Identify: Molecular diagnostics pinpoint the specific bacteria, fungi, and resistance genes present in the oral environment.
- Interpret: Our pharmacists provide clinical interpretation of diagnostic results to support your provider in selecting the most appropriate therapy.
- Intervene: A personalized TargetedRx is compounded to address the identified organisms and support restoration of a balanced oral microenvironment.
Who is this service for?
This service is designed for patients and providers managing:
- Chronic or recurrent oral infections that have not resolved with standard antibiotic therapy
- Oral dysbiosis or persistent microbial imbalance affecting oral health
- Patients with inflammatory oral conditions associated with pathogenic organisms
- Providers seeking a pharmacist-guided, diagnostics-driven approach to oral infection management
More than 700 microbial species have been identified in the human oral cavity. When this complex ecosystem is disrupted by pathogenic overgrowth, biofilm formation, or inflammatory processes, it can lead to persistent oral health conditions that are difficult to resolve with standard treatments alone.

Up to 80% of oral infections involve biofilm-forming organisms. Oral biofilms, including dental plaque, are among the most studied microbial communities in human health, yet they remain a primary driver of persistent oral infections and treatment resistance when not directly addressed.

Oral diseases affect an estimated 3.5 billion people globally, making them among the most prevalent health conditions worldwide. Oral dysbiosis has been associated not only with local oral conditions but also with systemic health outcomes including cardiovascular disease, diabetes, and adverse pregnancy outcomes.
